mua?
I am now proudly say that I am a professional freelance makeup artist.
I always love makeup, my first makeup experience was when I am still in elementary school, I used to sneak to my mother's room and play with her makeup. And the first time I wear my makeup outside is when I have a dance performance at church and my mom is out of town, I was really excited I put on blush on, and a peach eyeshadow alongside with pink lips. I thought I looked beautiful until there's this woman, who happen to be my crush' mom asked me who did my makeup and her expression was like, "your makeup is sooo wrong" I told her it was my aunt.
And the time goes by, my dad bought me my first laptop and I get an internet connection, and the first thing that came to my mind when opening youtube was makeup. I just type makeup and from then all the magic happen. I watched makeup tutorials almost every single day on youtube, I am so obsessed. My first favourite beauty guru at that moment was Exteeeener (I don't exactly now how many E there is).
When my friends and I were invited to a birthday party, we will came to one of our friend house and get ready together, and I did most of their makeup. This happen from my middle till high school.
At university, things really getting real. I was majoring in Visual Communication Design and have so many photographer friends. One of them is asked me to do her model's makeup for his very first fashion shoot, and I said yes. And after that shoot, I know I wanted to be a makeup artist. I just knew it because when I do that model makeup I felt so excited, I felt so happy, I felt so proud, and I felt so fullfiled.
Right after I graduated, I went back to my hometown, Makassar and I became a freelance makeup artist. I am so happy and humble to say that I do pretty good consider that I only been here for 3 months. I have several loyal customer, and collaborating with great wedding photographer (thanks to my boyfie connection), in conclusion things are going forward now and I can't wait to see what I will be and accomplished in the next 6 months.

once in a while
I am sitting at a nice hir saloon having my hair cut and get a power gloss treatment. I make a mental calculation on my mind. I will pay a hugeee amount of money for all of this.
suddenly I think about all the things I could buy with that money. New lipstick for my makeup kit, a watch for my hubby or toys for my kid.
but hey, I need some reward for my self once in a while.

Are You PROUD of Yourself?
Well, I am not, YET..
I always get jealous to people who always seems put together. They always look nice, have great body, clean and organised room, good grades at school, healthy, making lots of money; actually in general they success at something in life.
Now, I realise that I need to do something before I left with only jealousy. Because those people that I consider "lucky" work their ass off to get what they have now. They exercise to have a sexy body, they maintain a good diet to be healthy, they study hard to achieve good grades, they work everyday to making lots of money, they clean their room every single day to have a nice room, they are hustling everyday.
If you are like me, and wanted to change, join me to be more productive, plan each and everyday, wake up early, make list, set goals, and just do it until we are proud of ourself.
I want to be PROUD OF MYSELF

Not So Personalised Name
Sooo, I think I'm gonna post about something that always been wandering around my head, random thoughts, opinion, my observation around people, and etc. Because sometimes I can be so random and I thought no one will understand that, and no one will kinda interested in a sometimes what people thought not so important conversation. So I think why not just blog about it, even though I think no one really read my blog. haha. At least 0,000000000000000000001% population of the world will stumble upon my blog and read it, perhaps.
So today I wanna talk about names. Yup, names. Shakespears said, "What’s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” I totally disagree! I think name is very important because It represent who you are and like most of the celebrities that I watched in the infotaintment news when they are interviewed after gave birth said, name is prayer. Because I grew up watching infotainment news, I believe that it is a prayer that parent gave to us. My name is Beby, and it homophone with baby in english. So my father gave me that name, and my mother said it means so that everybody can love me. I like my name a lot because of it's meaning and it makes me special, even though my mom just think about the meaning when I asked her XP
Okay enough rambling, that's why I said I am so random. Haha
Actually I wanna talk about how name these days is so customise-able
If you live in Indonesia like I do, maybe you'll notice that there is a certain pattern in naming you child
There is a "main" name and there is an "extra" name
almost everybody will have a main name and an extra name
to create more name we can just substitute the extra name with another extra name
Confuse? me too, kidding
Let me just give example:
Main name: Nita
Extra name: A, Su, Re, Be,
Final name: Anita, Sunita, Renita, Benita
Another example:
Main Name: Lisya
Extra name: Fe, Fi, E, Be, De,
Final name: Felicia ( homophone with fe-lisya), Filycia ( homophone with fi-lisya), Belycia (homophone with be-lisya), Delicia (homophone with De-lisya)
and so on and so on
my name also.
B-eby, there are also: G-eby, F-eby, D-eby
Trust me, this is not a fabricated names or names that I create myself, I know these names exist
Udin is also a very popular main name.
Arifudin, Alaudin, Sarifudin, Mahmudin, Jamaludin, Etc.
So, don't named your child Udin, omg my conclusion is so pointless. haha
anyway, see you in my next random post
I'll call this Thoughtfull thursday !

Hello to whoever reading this blog
It's been 3 days since I am back to my hometown Palopo. For those of you who doesn't know, Palopo is a CITY it is not a village like all of my friends thought. Actually it is a small city, and since I've been spending the last 3 and a half years in quite a big city which is Surabaya, I feel some difference that quite annoy me.
So yesterday I went to a bookstore, I pick some books, went to the cashier, and paid my books. My change should be Rp 7.100, but instead they only gave me Rp 7000. It pissed me off! Even it is only Rp 100, it still count. Yess, Rp 100 is money still. So I said this to the shopkeeper, "I thought it should be Rp 7.100 ??" ( I stared at her with a bitch face on ) and she look shocked. And then I said, "Nevermind", ( bitch face still on ).
I am not that broke that I value that Rp 100 that much but it is the ethic! Where is the ethic?! She should at least ask me if I don't mind if they only give me Rp 7.000. If she do that I don't have the problem at all.
Another similar case happen just today. I went to a bakery and bought some breads. I queued in front of the cashier because some middle age lady is at the cashier first. Then a man came and grab a bread, go to the side of the cashier, and the after the shop keeper finish with the middle age lady, she than proceed the man's payment firs! urrgh! I was very very pissed! I clearly was there first. I assume the shop keeper think that the man only bought one bread so I will be okay because it takes no seconds, but still, where is the manner? So when my turn is come, I asked her; "didn't I queued before that man? why do you take his order first?", (this time evil bitch face is on) she just looked down and don't even answer my question, I was so annoyed that I grab my breads as quick as possible and leave the store as soon as I get my change.
The point is where is the manner? the respect, the ethic!
People in Surabaya is have more manner, more respect and more ethic. But I admit not all of them, but still.
So when Jokowi, mentioned about the 'Revolusi Mental' I am so happy and I support that 101%! because manner, and ethic is came from the mentality!
*maybe I watch too many british youtubers*
